Liverpool will host West Ham United in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
The Reds, holders of the trophy after last season's win over Chelsea in the final, were paired with their fellow Premier League club during Wednesday night's draw.
The tie is scheduled to be played at Anfield in the week commencing September 23.
