Alexis Mac Allister helped Argentina move to within one step of retaining their Copa America crown after they reached the final of the 2024 edition overnight.
The midfielder was a starter for La Albiceleste as they defeated Canada 2-0 in a semi-final tie in New Jersey.
Goals from Julian Alvarez and Lionel Messi sent Argentina to their fourth Copa America showpiece in the last five tournaments.
Mac Allister played 78 minutes of the contest at MetLife Stadium before he was replaced by Exequiel Palacios.
He will now meet a Liverpool teammate in the final as Darwin Nunez's Uruguay and Luis Diaz's Colombia face off in the other last-four clash.
